The kick-off meeting of the "Analysis and Recommendations for Strengthening the Turkish Environmental Label System Project", which The World Bank funded, of which the Ministry of Environment, Urbanisation and Climate Change is the main beneficiary, was held on 10 July 2023 in Ankara with the participation of officials from the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, World Bank representatives and stakeholders from the public and private sectors.

The kick-off meeting of the “Technical Assistance Project for the Development of the Digitalization and Creativity Ecosystem in Kütahya”, funded by the European Union and the Republic of Türkiye, implemented within the scope of the Competitive Sectors Program of the Ministry of Industry and Technology, to which the Municipality of Kütahya is the beneficiary, was held in Kütahya on 20 June 2023.

“Workshop on Improving Occupational Health and Safety in the Mining Industry” of the Project for the Improvement of Occupational Health and Safety in Mining (MISGEP) was held in Ankara on Thursday, April 27, 2023, as part of the World Occupational Health and Safety Day Events. 

Within the scope of the Technical Assistance for Empowerment of the Role of Ombudsman in the Protection and Promotion of Human Rights, a study visit was held in Slovenia and Croatia on 27 February – 3 March 2023.

ROMSID Project Closing Event started on February 2, 2023 with the speeches of Deputy Minister of Family and Social Services Rıdvan DURAN, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Director for EU Affairs Faruk KAYMAKCI, Head of the EU Delegation to Turkey Ambassador Nikolaus MEYER-LANDRUT, 27th Term Member of Parliament Cemal BEKLE and Deputy Head of Central Finance and Contracts Unit Barbaros Murat KÖSE. 

International Ombudsman Conference on “The Future of Human Rights in the 21st Century” was held in Ankara on 11-12 January 2023 within the scope of "Technical Assistance for Empowerment of the Role of Ombudsman in the Protection and Promotion of Human Rights", funded by the European Union, and of which the Ministry of Treasury and Finance, Central Finance and Contracts Unit is the Contracting Authority and which is carried out under the leadership of the Directorate for EU Affairs.
